Let love be your highest goal! 1 Corinthians 14:1(a) (NLT)
In whatever we aspire to be or do the motive should be Love. This is because Love is the greatest of all. 1Corinthians 13:13.
Love is the cause and drive of Life. We live and walk by Faith, but Faith is ignited and fuelled by Love.
God loves us that’s why He believes in us. The Amplified Bible version says Faith is activated, energized, expressed, and works through Love. Galatians 5:6 (AMPC).
We can’t miss it or go wrong when we go the way of Love because Love thinks no evil, and does not rejoice at injustice. Love only rejoices when right and truth prevail. 1Corinthians13:6(AMPC)
When Love leads and rules there’s perfect harmony because Love holds everything together in perfect order, unity and cooperation.
We are liberated and kept whole by the Truth but it is Love that makes Truth relevant and useful. The people who dragged the woman caught in adultery before Jesus told Him that such deserved death by stoning. What they said was true according to the law but it wasn’t liberating and making that woman whole instead it was condemning and bringing death to her. But Jesus spoke the Truth in Love and while He didn’t disregard the law He liberated and saved that woman from death.
So in your own heart, mind, relationships, and all you do allow Love to lead. Do everything in Love, for God is Love.
