In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us. Colossians 3:11 (NLT)
Fulfilment in life starts with finding out where you come from and where you’re going. Because this is the answer to the question “Who am I? Knowing who you’re is what unlocks the door to the world of what on earth you’re here for – your purpose in life.
The Word of God which is the beginning, the reference, and parent source of all things has told us that it doesn’t matter whether you’re Jew or gentile. Who you are, your identity is not tied up in your ethnicity, culture or family tree. According to God who’s the author of reality your nationality, tribe, clan is not who you are.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re circumcised or uncircumcised. You are not who or how you look physically or on the outside. God doesn’t identify and therefore doesn’t relate with and treat you as overweight or thin, dark skinned or light skinned, short or tall.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re barbaric or civilized. Your true God given identity is not found in your social status. To God you’re not defined as either educated or uneducated. Education though is a sharpening that helps us to be effective in life.
It doesn’t matter whether you are slave or free. You’re not classified as disadvantaged or privileged because the order of society has placed you at the bottom or at the top.
All these man made criteria and classifications don’t tell the true you.
To God and which is the truth, Christ is your true identity. Christ is all and everything you’re. He is in you and you’re in Him. Who or What is Christ? The one in whom the fullness of God dwells fully bodily. Colossians 2:9; 1:19.
Start moving in this confidence that God sees you as His Child.
