…the slate wiped clean. Colossians 2:14 (MSG)
God’s forgiving is wiping out. Jesus the Lamb of God took away our sins. They are not covered but washed away by His Blood. We were cleansed from our old sins when we accepted Christ. 2 Peter 1:9. The Blood of Jesus cleanses, totally removes all sin.
We shouldn’t walk around beaten down and bent over because of anything we did or others did to us in the past. We have a new beginning in Christ. What God has blotted out doesn’t exist that’s why under the New Covenant He doesn’t remember our sins. Hebrews 8:12. It’s not that He’s forgetful but rather they don’t exist. In the light of this truth the humanistic philosophy of generational curses can’t stand. In the mind of God you are brand new, you don’t have a past. You’re of God 1John 4:4. This is your genealogy, your ancestry. The only generational thing on and in you is that which is from and of God.
