I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the [life] which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20(NKJV)
Where and how you were born and brought up is not your true original story.
What happened to you, what you went through, what you did and what was done to you is not your true original script, it’s not your life. Christ is your real life. He is the scripture or script you’re. He’s your script.
Your story was drafted and crafted before you were formed in your mother’s womb.
We are not even here referring to the view point of some people which is that God knew ahead of time all the hard and terrible things you would go through in this life in this world.
While it’s a fact that God knew everything that would happen to you and what you would do in the world, that’s not the point. The truth, the real deal, the most important thing to know is that God already knew you as His beloved child in Christ before the foundation of the world. He has always known you as belonging to Him.
God has never known you as a wretch, failure, unwanted, rejected, inferior, unworthy or disappointment. He has never known you as one born and brought up in suffering or destitution.
Even when in our attitude and actions we self-exiled ourselves from Him to the wasteland of the prodigal son we still stayed in Father God’s heart as His known, valued, loved sons and daughters. Our original true story never changed in God’s heart and mind. It changed in our hearts and minds when we fell for a lie in Adam.
Christ came and on the Cross in the living ink of His Blood rewrote our original true story in our hearts and minds.
Our story is we are loved, forgiven, redeemed, delivered, righteous, holy, accepted healed, prosperous, blessed, favored, victorious.
Another ongoing rewriting is when we continue hearing and saying and meditating on those same truths which leads to the last outward rewriting of those realities in our daily conduct. This is how Christ lives in us and how we live by the Faith of the Son of God who loved us and gave Himself for us.
