You gave me life and showed me your unfailing love. My life was preserved by your care. Job 10:12 (NLT)
In the midst of the darkness of Job’s unimaginable sufferings there shines this bright light of hope, comfort and edification – that God gave him life, showed him His unfailing love and with His care preserved Job’s life.
It’s no different even today in our generation. No matter how dark it may look and feel in your life and circumstance the Lord has given you life, He’s constantly showing you His unfailing love and with His care He’s preserving your life.
God cares for you. He knows you, understands everything you go through and desires to help you.
He’s not watching you from a distance like one popular song says. He’s right with you where you’re in what you’re experiencing. He doesn’t just feel for you, He feels with you. He feels what you feel together with you. He personally shares in all your sufferings.
Isaiah 63:9 (NLT) In all their suffering He also suffered, and He personally rescued them. In His Love and Mercy He redeemed them. He lifted them up and carried them through all the years.
This is what it means that God cares for you. In all your suffering He doesn’t just feel sorry for you, He doesn’t just pity you but He also suffers or goes through the same distress together with you.
Then He doesn’t stop there but He personally rescues you, in His unfailing love and Mercy He redeems you, then He lifts you up and carries you along all the time.
God cares about you living healed, healthy and strong. That’s why He’s your healer. He personally came and took your sins and sicknesses in His own body on the Cross. See- 1Peter 2:24. He cares that you eat and that you’re clothed. He says do not worry about what to eat and put on, that He knows we need these things. He not only knows that we need them but He’s provided them already in His kingdom and Righteousness which He already gave us in His Son Jesus Christ. So He tells us to set our hearts and minds on His Kingdom and Righteousness where all these things are already included. Matthew 6:25-33.
He cares for you living in peace and prosperity. He says His thoughts or plans for you are peace and prosperity. Jeremiah 29:11. Some Bible translations of this Scripture say “plans of peace’, then others say “plans to prosper or to bring prosperity”. They are all right because the Hebrew word ‘Shalom” used here means peace, wholeness, wellbeing, and prosperity.
God cares for your life, peace, wholeness, wellbeing and prosperity.
Set your heart and mind on this truth. Always tell yourself especially in the midst of so many cares bombarding your head that “God cares for me”.
