Out of my distress I called upon the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free and in a large place. Psalms 118:5 (AMPC)
God hears and answers prayer. It’s on the platform of prayer that we stand face to face with God and are thus able to see what He sees. To every issue God already has a working plan, for every challenge He has a solution. Not only does God have an answer for every question we are facing but He is so very willing to avail us with that answer. It’s in prayer that we find answers from God’s presence for every trouble.
Does God answer everyone’s prayer? Yes He hears and answers prayer from anyone. He’s no respecter of persons. Someone said God doesn’t hear the prayer of sinners. If that were true none of us would be saved because we come to God as sinners and our first prayer to Him which is the prayer of Salvation is also popularly called the sinner’s prayer. He has heard and answered every sinner who ever turned to Him in repentance.
Does God answer every prayer?
Yes He answers every prayer albeit not exactly the way we think or want. God answers every prayer according to His counsel and will.
If what you are asking for contravenes His counsel and will then His answer is an undisputable no. But His answer is always a definite yes to every prayer that conforms to His counsel and will.
Therefore our prayer should always be in line with and subject to His counsel and will.
The Word of God is His counsel and will.
For that reason we should spend more time in God’s Word, because only then can we align with and be able to pray in conformity with His counsel and will and only then can we always receive a yes in answer to every prayer to God.
