In His self-sacrificial Love for us, God has shared with us His best; He gave His Son – His all. Our unforced response to this love and giving is sharing back the best with the One who is everything to us.
Giving to the Lord is acknowledging that He’s the source and owner of everything. It’s also thankfulness to Him for all He’s given and done for us. He’s given and done the best so we give to Him the best.
Give to the Lord the best of your resources, abilities, time, and devotion – not forced, not dutifully, but gratefully, purposefully, delightedly, from your heart.
