Wisdom speaks the truth and hates lies. James 3:14-15 (NKJV) But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but [is] earthly, sensual, demonic. There’s another corrupt wisdom that boasts and lies against the truth. It’s called earthly, sensual demonic wisdom. In contrast, the true Wisdom from above, the Wisdom of God speaks the truth. The Word of God is truth – John17:17, it’s the Wisdom of God. For example, the preaching of the message of Salvation through Jesus Christ is the Truth and it is also the Wisdom of God that saves, heals, delivers, and restores people. James 3:14-15 speaks against bitter envy and self ambition. He’s presenting the Truth of God’s Word which is also the Wisdom of God that helps us get rid of, and live free from everything that hinders life and progress.
