Godliness makes a nation great, but sin is a disgrace to any people. Proverbs 14:34 (NLT)
True greatness of any people, community, or nation doesn’t come from numbers, natural resources, wealth, socio-economic development or military might but from God Himself. When God is acknowledged and exalted above all, then we experience exaltation in every area of life. When God is rejected, everything falls apart. Wherever the light of the knowledge of God has gone and prevailed, civilization, development, industrialization, social order, promotion of human rights have followed but when God is put out, deterioration of everything good is the result. In praying for our homes, cities and nations let’s major on righteousness or godliness prevailing.
