Walk in wisdom toward those [who are] outside, redeeming the time. Colossians 4:5 (NKJV)
Here walking in wisdom is associated with redeeming time.
The saying ‘time is money’ has a point when we understand money to represent labor, value and price. We don’t waste money we invest it to multiply it so we can use more of it. Walking in wisdom is investing time to multiply it so we can have more of it to use more of it.
Invest your time in the Lord, in His interests, spend your time in the affairs of His kingdom and you will gain far more than in anything else. This doesn’t mean you don’t do anything else except be in what some call full time ministry but rather let the Lord and His ways be involved in and dominate everything you’re involved in.
