And when the wine was all gone, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no more wine! Jesus said to her, [Dear] woman, what is that to you and to Me? [What do we have in common? Leave it to Me.] My time (hour to act) has not yet come. John 2:3-4 (AMPC)
God created time and He controls time. So whenever the issue of time comes up concerning whatever you’re so frantic about having or happening trust God. Since He’s the Lord of time He knows how best to make use of time to your advantage.
God knows the right and most suitable time for everything.
Jesus, His disciples and Mary His mother were at a wedding in Cana of Galilee. The wine supply ran out and Mary went to Jesus and told Him about it.
The creator and controller of time told Mary “Leave it to Me. My time (hour to act) has not yet come”.
He’s telling us the same thing today. We should leave the “when” of those things that are beyond our ability to do or control to God.
For how much longer Lord am I going to wait till I meet the right marriage partner and get married?
We are counting twelve years now from when we started looking for a baby, Lord when will we conceive and get a child?
Lord it’s been a while since I’ve faithfully served under or with others in ministry or business, when do I get a promotion or pay raise? How about starting my own ministry or business? When will my ministry or business go country wide or international?
If you’ve played your own part, prepared yourself, done the things that are your responsibility, relax, trust God’s timing also known as due time or appointed season
Galatians 6:9 (AMPC) And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.
