God’s ways and methods are not slow. He doesn’t take long to accomplish His plans and work. He is not slow to act as some think- 2Peter 3:9. He is only slow to anger – Psalm 103:8, and to execute judgement – 2Peter 3:9. The Lord Jesus who was fully yielded to God’s Word and Spirit had miraculous results in His ministry frequently described as immediate which is an expression of swiftness. Mark 1:40-42 (NKJV) Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out [His] hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed. Other translations say instantly, at once, straight away, then and there. The Word of God is swift to save, deliver, heal, protect, direct, and provide. The only time and only reason God’s working seems slow to bring results is because we are slow to agree and align with God’s Word. The reason it took many years from the time God promised Abraham a child to the time he had Isaac was that was how long it took Abraham and Sarah to fully agree with what God had said. Agree with the Word of God for swift, instant, straight away connections, deliveries, and results.
