Rejoicing in the Lord always is an overflow of union and communion with Him.
We are united with the Lord in the spirit. We are partakers of His Divine Nature. Joy is one of the expressions of the Nature of God. He is a joyful God. In His Presence is fullness of Joy. Psalms 16:11. Therefore it’s within our new creation nature, our innermost being to always be joyful no matter the circumstances. That’s why we should always live and walk from within. We should pay more attention and yield to the realities inside us instead of what’s going on outside around us.
One way to focus on the realities within us is to continually give thanks to the Lord. We give thanks for who He is to us, what He has done for us and who we are and what we have in Him.
As we do this, joy will flow out like rivers from our innermost being.
Rejoice in the Lord your Maker, be glad in your Savior, your Deliverer your healer. Be glad because you are redeemed in Him, you’re righteous in Him, you have passed from death to life in Him. Celebrate His Love, blessings, favor, and goodness in your life.
