Man got into trouble because he believed a lie. Because Adam and Eve didn’t pay close attention and hold fast to the truth when the deceiver made an attempt on them they fell for his deception. The same thing is still going on today everyday as people either knowingly or ignorantly reject or drift away from the truth and fall for lies.
The truth is what God knows and believes about us and everything concerning us. It’s what God has said in His Word. It’s the person of His Son Jesus Christ.
The truth is you came from God, you belong to him, you can only live, move and have your being in him. The truth is Jesus. The truth is Jesus is your real Life, apart from Him you’re nothing and can do nothing. Not knowing, ignoring or rejecting this, results into frustration, disappointment, failure, emptiness and total loss.
