But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved) Ephesians 2:4-5 (NKJV)
Jesus Christ is alive with Resurrection Life. So the Church which is His Body is also alive with the same Resurrection Life.
We were once dead in our sins but God has made us alive with Christ in His Resurrection. We are alive and full of life in Christ.
Therefore it’s total disregard and denial of the truth when believers pray for and seek revival. The word revival is from revive which means to make alive again. You can’t make alive again someone who is already alive. God revived us with Christ on the third day. We are already in revival. It’s been here since more than two thousand years ago. It’s in every one who believes in Christ.
Let’s thank God for reviving us in Christ. Let’s proclaim the revival already in and with us. Then we shall see, experience and demonstrate to the world the tangible effects of this revival.
