When we look at integrity as only an issue of morality, we may miss its practical importance and effectiveness in our lives. When a building’s structural integrity is intact, it means that building is in a firm, stable, strong and safe condition. It means there’s no missing, weak, broken or malfunctioning parts in that building. A life of integrity is like that. No area in your life where what’s vital and important is missing, weak, broken or malfunctioning. When God tells us to stay away from wrong ways, attitudes, behavior, practices, and walk in what’s right, orderly, and acceptable, it’s more than religious moral laws. It’s structural integrity.
