And [when] you awake, they will speak with you Proverbs 6:22c (NKJV)
“They” referred to here are ” the father’s command and mother’s law” Proverbs 6:20, which is the Word of God. In the next verse Proverbs 6:21 he says bind them continually on your heart and tie them around your neck meaning becoming one with the Word of God. When you’re one with the Word, you hear it speak with you, it counsels you, guides you, and empowers you. Practice being one with the Word through reading it, studying it, confessing it, meditating on it, and doing what it says. The Word speaking with us is God speaking with us, sharing His plans, power and purposes with us.
