Who will keep you? The father’s command and mother’s law Proverbs 6:20 The Word of God is the father’s command and mother’s law. Just like it’s a father’s and mother’s heart to keep, protect, and provide for their children it’s in the nature of Father God to keep, protect and provide for us. Now the Word of God is God Himself John 1:1. The power of God that keeps, protects and provides is in His Word. Proverbs 6:21 tells us to bind the father’s command and mother’s law continually upon our heart; and tie them around our neck. This means being acquainted with the Word. When we are in union and fellowship with the Word, we experience it’s keeping, protecting, and providing ability.
