Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NLT)
Being thankful to God not only demonstrates that we acknowledge what He already has done for and given us but also keeps us reminded and focused on the truth that the same God who has helped, provided and enabled us before is well able to do it again and shall surely do it.
Thankfulness to God keeps us fixed on God’s faithfulness. When we count God faithful it’s so easy to receive what He promised.
So continue not only in prayer but also in thanksgiving to God.
