The Hebrew word rendered helpful here means efficiency. A wife is a helper to her husband. She brings the efficiency needed to cause the marriage to be fruitful and productive. A virtuous, excellent, or good wife means an efficient or helpful wife. Even God the Holy Spirit is a Helper – John 14:16(NKJV). He came to bring efficiency in our life, walk, and ministry. All of us can bring efficiency in others lives by being helpful. In your relationships, home, workplace, neighbourhood, ministry show yourself helpful. Always seek and find a place and opportunity to use your abilities and resources to help someone. Just as a helpful wife is a jewel or crown to her husband, we can be a jewel or crown in someone’s life. We can be the excellence, Honor, and glory in people and places where we are helpful.
