A kingdom or a house divided can not stand – Mark 3:25. So a kingdom or house united stands. Our text scripture says the house of the righteous stands firm. The righteous is the one in right standing with God, the one united with God. Right standing with God is agreeing with Him. We stay standing firm by agreeing with God. What we think, plan or build can only stand firm if it’s in line with God’s right way of being and doing. Right standing with God is through faith in Jesus Christ. We walk in this right standing by looking, learning, and acting from the Word. Your health, relationships, finances, work, or ministry can stay standing firm even through storms when you’re standing right with God, agreeing with Him. “Agree with God, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you. Job 22:21. Put another way – agree with God and stand firm. In all your intents and plans agree with God and whatever you desire and do will stand firm.
