The LORD [is]…Gracious in all His works. Psalm 145:17 (NKJV)
What is Grace? Romans 11:6(AMPC) But if it is by grace (His unmerited favor and graciousness), it is no longer conditioned on works or anything men have done. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace [it would be meaningless]. This Scripture reveals that Grace is the opposite of works or human effort. God deals with us not based on what we have done whether good or bad. God freely richly joyfully gives and does good to us. This is Grace. This is God’s working. The first time Grace is mentioned in the Bible it says Noah found Grace – Genesis 6:8. Noah means rest. When we are at rest, not striving in our own strength we find Grace, we see God’s working. While we were still helpless, without strength Christ died for us- Romans 5:6. This is Grace, this is God’s working by which we were saved, no contribution from us – Ephesians 2:8-9. Get rid of the mindset that God works for you based on what you have done. The Lord is gracious in all His works. See and rest in God’s abundant Grace, experience His mighty working in every area of your life.
