You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing. Psalm 145:16 (NKJV)
God’s open hand means His willingness, readiness, and generosity in doing us good. A closed hand would mean unwillingness, refusal, and tightness. God is cheerfully generous towards us. He freely richly gave us His Son Jesus Christ and with Him freely richly gave us all things – Romans 8:32. In the parable of the prodigal son both sons were not satisfied in life because they didn’t see the open hand or willingness and generosity of their Father. Satisfaction in life starts from seeing a willing, and generous Father God. Jesus is the revelation and manifestation of Father God’s open hand that satisfies. He came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance, to the full, till it overflows – John 10:10 (AMPC). Now that is satisfaction!
