Righteousness is right standing with God. It’s being right with God. We can’t attain this trying to be and act right in our own strength. It’s a gift we receive through faith in Jesus Christ – Romans 3:22-24. God’s way is Righteousness means that we can only live and walk in harmony with God and one another when we are in right standing with God. Things can only work out well for us when we are right with God. When Adam sinned and became unrighteous even the ground was affected by the curse, it grew thorns and he as well as all humanity have to toil to get food from it. All the evil and suffering in the world is because of unrighteousness. But God’s Righteousness has been revealed and has come in Jesus Christ – Romans 3:21-22. We are made righteous believing in Jesus Christ – Romans 10:9-10 We can have peace and assurance in this Righteousness – Isaiah 32:17. The good and beneficial things of life are added to us in this Righteousness – Matthew 6:33.
