Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither. Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Psalms 37:1-3 (NLT)
You don’t get rid of worry by just refusing to worry or saying “I will not worry” You get rid of worry by replacing it with a more powerful force – trusting in God.This is the way Jesus teaches us how not to worry. He gives us what to replace worry with.He says “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ Matthew 6:31 Then He tells what to fill out hearts and minds with; “For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things”. Matthew 6:32b When your mind and heart are filled with the knowledge and assurance that your heavenly Father knows all you need then there can’t be worry in you. Neither can you envy anyone
