Psalm 148:5 (NLT) Let every created thing give praise to the Lord, for he issued his command, and they came into being.
God desires to fill everything and everywhere with His Glory. Because praise is where God is enthroned – Psalm 22:3, He created and commands all things to praise Him. There’s a universal praise team for the purpose of letting God in all His glory to inhabit all things: Praise from the heavens. Psalm 148:1(NKJV)Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights! The heavens were created to praise God and their immense expanse should cause us to praise Him. Praise from the celestial bodies. Psalm 148:3 (NKJV) Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light! They reveal God’s glory. They proclaim the Father of lights, the God of times and seasons. Praise from terrestrial and marine creatures. Psalm 148:7,10 (NIV) 7Praise the LORD from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths, 10wild animals and all livestock, small scurrying animals and birds, these declare that He is Lord of the earth and the seas. Praise from the elements. They declare that He is God over every law, principle and force. Psalm 148:8 (NLT) fire and hail, snow and clouds, wind and weather that obey him, Praise from humanity. We are the expression of His image and likeness. Psalm 148:11-12 (NLT) 11kings of the earth and all people, rulers and judges of the earth, 12young men and young women, old men and children. All should praise the Lord. That’s how he dwells and fills all. Psalm 148:13(NLT) Let them all praise the name of the Lord. For his name is very great; his glory towers over the earth and heaven!
