The more I thought about it, the hotter I got, igniting a fire of words: Psalms 39:3 (NLT)
Most problems are only as big or hard as we think they are. Something very insignificant and negligible can turn into an insurmountable obstacle or disaster only because we focused our mind and attention on it.It can be what someone said, did, or didn’t say or didn’t do. They may not have had any ill intentions in their action or lack thereof, they may not have been aware they were doing wrong, they may even have intended to do you good. But you can think so wrongly and negatively about it igniting and building this bonfire of how they intended to offend or hurt you. Then a misunderstanding, a quarrel or even a fight arises. This is the power of thought. You can magnify an issue that was so small. But we can turn this around to our advantage and the good of all.Instead of thinking so much about the wrong, the negative or hurt think about the good, the advantage or something positive that could come out of it. Remember God causes all things (good or bad) to work out for our good – Romans 8:28
