For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation. Ephesians 2:14 (NKJV)
The serpent introduced separation in the garden. He deceived man that there was a separation between man and God where God was withholding something good from man. When man took it he brought all of God’s creation into chaos and crisis.
Jesus came to remove the separation between man and God and between man and fellow man.
This separation was enforced by the law of works trying to earn approval and acceptance in our own human efforts.
On the Cross Christ cried out “it’s finished!” God did and finished everything required for man to be in unbroken union and communion with God and fellow man.
There’s no more separation between you and God and fellow man. Any sense or experience of separation is only still in men’s minds which they then believe and act out. That’s why we need to continually hear this Good News of no more separation in Christ.
