The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. Psalms 29:4 (AMPC)
What makes the voice of the Lord powerful and full of majesty is not it’s roar, or boom. The power and majesty in the voice of the Lord is in what it communicates. When Jesus was here on earth the voice of the Lord God the Father spoke to Him at two different times and places saying “You’re My Beloved Son in Whom I Am well pleased” – Matthew 3:17; 17:5 The Voice of the Lord communicates our true identity as beloved children of God and our position as accepted before God. We are empowered when we know who we truly are and where we truly stand in God. This is what makes the Voice of the Lord powerful and full of majesty. Therefore, learn to hear, to judge by, and follow the voice of the Lord because that’s where the power to live flows.
