And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. 1 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)
After Jesus Christ came, died on the Cross, rose, ascended and sat at God’s Right hand, and the Holy Spirit came and now lives in us believers, mystery no longer means something hidden but something previously hidden but now revealed and made fully known. Everything that was previously hidden about God, everything that was hidden in God has been fully revealed and made known in Christ Jesus through His Life on earth, Ministry, Death, Resurrection, Ascension, and Seating at God’s Right Hand in Heaven.
The mystery of godliness isn’t about what’s hidden about God but rather what’s been fully clearly revealed and made known about God.
God became a man, lived and walked among us, saved us, went back to heaven but at the same time has come to live forever in us who have heard and believed what He accomplished for us.
