Now if [all these things are true, then be sure] the Lord knows how to rescue the godly out of temptations and trials, and how to keep the ungodly under chastisement until the day of judgment and doom. 2 Peter 2:9(AMPC)
Thank God the Scripture has said He rescues out of temptations and trials. He doesn’t lead, expose or keep us in temptations and trials but rescues us out of them.
Therefore temptations, trials or troubles do not come from God since He rescues us out of them all. It is the nature and will of the Lord to always rescue His own.
Psalms 34:19 (NLT) The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.
The Lord rescues us not just out of a few or some but all troubles. This means complete rescue.
Job 5:19 (AMPC) He will rescue you in six troubles; in seven nothing that is evil [for you] will touch you.
The Lord rescues from lack or famine. He rescues from all death and destruction.
Job 5:20 (AMPC) In famine He will redeem you from death, and in war from the power of the sword.
The Lord rescues from slander – that is from false accusation, disgrace, shame, humiliation and condemnation.
Job 5:21(GNT) God will rescue you from slander; he will save you when destruction comes.
The Lord rescues from violence – that is abuse, injury and damage. He rescues from hunger. He rescues from wild animals – that includes every bacteria, virus, fungi, disease, sickness, plague or epidemic.
Job 5:22 (GNT) You will laugh at violence and hunger and not be afraid of wild animals. Thank the Lord for always rescuing us.
