The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him. The Lord is their [unyielding] Strength, and He is the Stronghold of salvation to [me] His anointed. Psalms 28:7-8 (AMPC)
Everything we’ve ever needed and will ever need the Lord is.
Whatever we want and desire the Lord is. He is our everything. Our all in all.
When He says I AM it’s a declaration and revelation of the manifold infinite source and inexhaustible supply that He is.
He says – I am your life, I am your peace, I am your joy, I am your wisdom. I am your strength.
The Lord is our strength.
Because we are in Him we are strong. The more we acknowledge our being in Him, the stronger we are.
The more we recognize and confess our union or oneness with the Lord the stronger we are in faith, confidence, mind, emotions and even our physical body.
That’s why the Word says – Ephesians 6:10 (AMPC) In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].
He has not told us to become but be strong. You become what you haven’t been but you be who you already are. In other words you act who you’re.
He’s saying stand and act as the strong one in the Lord. The Lord is your strength, you’re already strong in Him, and your strength is in Him.
Say that, see that, and act like that. Even when you feel weak say you are strong, thank God that you’re strong.
Joel 3:10 (AMPC) Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, I am strong [a warrior]!
