But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations].

The sinless Blood of Jesus was shed for the removal of sin. Matthew 26:28
From our theme Scripture above in 1John1:7, the Blood of Jesus cleanses us from ALL sin. Not some sin, not some small or less terrible sins but all sin. The Blood of Jesus is much much more powerful than any sin we may have or will ever commit. This doesn’t give us the liberty or license to sin because we know sin destroys and we have been redeemed from it. Rather it assures us of God’s power in our lives over sin and frees us from its control and effects. If you’re still struggling over any sin in any area of your life, the remedy is the Blood of Jesus. Know, tell yourself, give thanks to Father God for the Blood of Jesus that cleanses you from all sin. We live by faith not by sight so you don’t first wait to see that you have dealt with or overcome that failure, mistake, weakness, or sinful habit then after declare and give thanks for your liberty and victory over sin. Go ahead thank God for the cleansing power, and freedom in the Blood of Jesus Christ.
