And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). Ephesians 2:6 (AMPC)
When a king is said to be seated on his throne it’s not mere sitting on a chair that’s implied rather being set in a position of authority and power.
God raised us up together with Christ and seated us together with Him in His throne at His Right hand – the highest position of authority and power far above all rule and might. We are kings enthroned on high.
We have authority and power to reign in life.
We have authority and power over everything hateful, harmful and hurtful. We have authority and power over sin, sickness, lack, satan, demons, hell and death. We have authority and power over nature, the elements, and circumstances.
Like kings we exercise and operate in our authority and power by declaring and decreeing.
The things we approve of we declare and decree that they are or be. The things we disapprove of we declare and decree to cease.
