I trust in the LORD for safety. How foolish of you to say to me, Fly away like a bird to the mountains, Psalms 11:1 (GNT)
Almost all the world’s safety and security plans and measures are based on fear especially the fear of man. Nations build forces and weapons in anticipation of possible attacks from people of outside countries or people from within. Yet this doesn’t get rid of their fear. Individuals invest heavily in security for their own lives, loved ones and possessions primarily not against animals, circumstances, or aliens from outer space but in suspicion and fear of what fellow people could likely do to them. Still these people are anxious.Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety. Proverbs 29:25 (NLT)Nothing wrong in having human safeguards but let the Lord be your ultimate security and safety.
