The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season. Psalm 145:15 (NKJV)
God operates according to due season and not according to passage of time as in seconds, minutes, hours, weeks, days, months and years. He’s not moved or controlled by deadlines and expiry dates. God’s due season means the right moment based on His plans and purposes. God’s due season isn’t that time you think something ought to be done based on circumstances. When Jesus heard Lazarus was sick, He waited until he was dead and buried then went. But the results were the best for Lazarus, his family and many other people – John 11. Letting God provide or work in due season can be frustrating and distressing if you’re so focused on and controlled by the passage of time. But God knows us and our situations best and He has the best way and timing of help, and supply. God’s provision in due season means His help and supply that’s appropriate, well-timed, coming exactly when we need it- Hebrews 4:16 (AMPC) Your part is to look to God with expectation. His part is to provide in due season.
