I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting; 1Timothy 2:8 (NKJV)
Don’t pray out of frustration and anger whether against people or God. Prayer shouldn’t be a way of venting negative emotions.
The wrath of man doesn’t work the Righteousness of God. James1:20
Elijah didn’t last long and didn’t finish what God commissioned Him to do because of wrath or anger.
When the disciples wished to emulate Elijah, Jesus rebuked them indicating they were of a different spirit from that which Elijah depicted.
Moses missed entering the Promised Land because of wrath.
Instead of wrath or doubt pray with thanksgiving.
