Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 1Timothy 2:1-2 (NKJV)
In prayer we are with the aid of the Holy Spirit communicating the Divine purposes and plans. It’s the Father’s desire that His will (purposes and plans) be done on earth as in heaven. This therefore means that all people on earth should be included in our prayers or communicating the Divine purposes and plans.
As we pray for people the divine influence of God’s Love and Grace works on their hearts and minds to cause even the worst wicked and hardest of them to yield to God’s purposes and plans and in this way we can have quiet and Peace in this world.
Pray for all people, pray for those in your neighborhood, town, village, city, country. Pray for those in positions of influence and leadership at all levels.
In your prayers don’t complain and be critical of them but rather give thanks to God for them.
