God showed favor to Jacob or Israel and restored them by forgiving their sins.The way God favors and restores is by forgiving sins. Because it is sin that damages and destroys.Jesus first told the paralyzed man in Luke 5:18-26 that “your sins are forgiven you” then told him “rise up take your bed and go home”The forgiveness of sins precedes every other miraculous working of God.Isaiah 53:4 talks first about Him who suffered for our sins then talks about His suffering for our healing.1 Peter 2:24 also testifies that first Jesus carried our sins then gave us healing.Know that you’ve been forgiven and you’ll experience God’s miraculous power in all areas of your life.
