And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: Philippians 3:9(NKJV)
The only life that God planned for us and pleases Him is the Faith life. This life of Faith is the let go, let God life. It’s the life of rest.
The Word tells us four times that the just shall live by Faith – Habakkuk 2:4; Romans1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38. It is saying that those who through faith are in right standing with God shall live.
Another way to put it is those who let go and let God shall live. Shall live includes shall experience healing, health, experience and enjoy abundant provision, experience peace and joy.
When Jesus told us to come to Him all of us who labor and are heavy laden and He will give us rest, He was referring to the let go and let God life.
Let’s look at this scripture from the Message Bible:
Matthew 11:28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me–watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
The pressure, anxiety, frustration, exhaustion and stress many people are bent down and wasted under is majorly a result of holding onto and carrying way too much more than the capacity they are built for. Everything that’s constructed has a set maximum capacity they should carry, hold or support from the smallest sound speakers to the largest super structures like aircraft carriers. When the engineer’s set maximum capacity is exceeded a break down results. God is our architect, He designed us to live and operate in rest. He engineered us to function and flow in freely and lightly mode.
Let go of the worries, and pressure and let God. Let Him lead, let him work it all out.
How do we let go and let God? Resting in His Word. Because we who have believed enter into rest. When we yield and submit to the Word we yield and submit to rest.
