Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins. James 5:19-20 (NKJV)
The Good Shepherd kept on searching and looking for the lost sheep. He did not return home until He had found and rescued it.
God’s home and heart is where every one of His children has been sought, found, rescued and returned safe. It’s where we all belong – with Him.Therefore no matter how far or how long you or someone you know wandered and strayed, it’s never too late for you to return home to a loving relationship and fellowship with Father God. Jesus bled and died for us to live in union and communion with our heavenly Father forever. The thief on the Cross made it home in paradise with Jesus at the point of his execution and death for a life of crime. Jesus never told him it’s too late for him to undo or change anything. He told him “today you’re with me…”
The times of ignorance, of wallowing in the pig pen of disobedience and rebellion God overlooked. He deleted that part; it doesn’t exist in His mind. But now He’s pleading with you “please come home beloved daughter, beloved son” to where you are welcome and belong.
