Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT)
Having needs is not a disadvantage or disqualification.
God purposely created us in a state and condition that always continually requires support and supply. He also put us on a planet in an environment that always requires support and supply.
He did it, not so we live in need and want but that we may always continually receive from Him, and rely on Him the true source of all good.
Being in and having need helps us realise we can of our own self do nothing then we look to God for support and supply.
In your need to be loved, the power of His awesome Love is displayed. When you’re weak the power of His strength is displayed, when you don’t know what to do, the power of His wisdom is displayed, when you’re facing lack the power of His provision is displayed.
So let your needs be a constant reminder to look to your true source – God from whom alone flows your support and supply.
Thus in your need His power is displayed.
