Are you in need of wisdom? We all are. James 1:5 says if you lack wisdom ask God who gives to all liberally without fault-finding and it will be given to you.
But what if you already asked and God gave you wisdom but you didn’t realize it so you’re still asking Him? How does God give wisdom? By speaking it. The Scripture has said God gives wisdom… from His mouth…
What God speaks is wisdom. For example, let’s say you’re in need of wisdom for dealing with life’s needs and demands. God has already spoken wisdom – Matthew 6:25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? In the verses that follow He basically says do not worry because it doesn’t solve anything. Understand that the God who takes care of all creation knows you, you’re more special to Him than birds and plants which He freely provides for. Engage your mind and energies with His ways and principles and all will turn out the best for you. When you embrace and act on these instructions then you have recognized, received and are walking in God’s wisdom. For every issue or problem God has given wisdom from His mouth by speaking. Find out what God has spoken about your case in the Scriptures. That’s the first place we get wisdom.
