Honoring the Lord is not only by mouth saying and singing Lord, I honor you. True honor comes from the heart.
Where your treasure is there your heart also is – Matthew 6:21, there your attention and energies are. When we submit our possessions and wealth to the Lord we are showing He is our treasure:
First, we are declaring that He is the owner of all things; secondly, He is our source, all we have comes from Him; thirdly we are saying all things are for serving Him; and fourth we are saying that true enjoyment and satisfaction is in and with the Lord. This is the place of fullness and overflow in every area of life.
