This passage of Psalm 89:19-37 is a prophetic vision from God concerning David but pointing to and fulfilled in Christ.In verse 20 we see Christ the Anointed One – Psalm 89:20 b With My holy oil I have anointed him.In verse 27 we see Christ the first born, the king of kings – Psalm 89:27 Also I will make him [My] firstborn, The highest of the kings of the earth.In verse 29 we see Christ whose throne is forever – Psalm 89:29 His seed also I will make [to endure] forever, And his throne as the days of heaven.But the center piece of it all is where Christ calls God Father in verse 26 our theme Scripture. He does it for us. As our representative, as our brother, His Father is our Father – John 20:17(NKJV) Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and [to] My God and your God.'”See, call, acquaint yourself and walk with God as your Father.
