Cheating is falsehood that results in injury and damage.
Imagine the way your body functions: Supposing you touch something extremely hot to the point of burning but your sensory nerves communicate a cool sensation. You would not pull away your body because you feel all is normal. Now that’s a deadly falsehood on the part of your nerves and it results in injury and damage to your body.
This is exactly what cheating does.
Bribery is cheating. Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe makes people blind to what is right and ruins the cause of those who are innocent. Exodus 23:8 (GNT)Cheating corrupts judgment and perverts justice. Stay away from it.
