It’s not that we should not trust people at all, or never believing in them. It’s all about realizing that people have limitations. Only God is always willing and able to help us in all things all the time. Experts don’t have it all perfectly figured out. They are limited to past experiences. Psalm 146:3 (MSG) Don’t put your life in the hands of experts who know nothing of life, of [salvation] life. Human intentions and plans fail even when the motives are right. Psalm 146:4 (MSG) Mere humans don’t have what it takes; when they die, their projects die with them. But God is able to defend, feed and free us Psalm 146:7 (MSG) he defends the wronged, he feeds the hungry. GOD frees prisoners– God is able to show us the way out, He actually lifts us up out of problems Psalm146:8 (MSG) he gives sight to the blind, he lifts up the fallen. God protects those nobody is willing to help, fights for the helpless and stops wickedness. Psalm 146:9 (MSG) protects strangers, takes the side of orphans and widows, but makes short work of the wicked. Finally, we can trust in God because He’s in control- Psalm 146:10 GOD’s in charge–[always]. Zion’s God is God for good! Hallelujah!
