Practice and cultivate and meditate upon these duties; throw yourself wholly into them [as your ministry], so that your progress may be evident to everybody. 1 Timothy 4:15 (AMPC)
The Word of God is Himself. John 1:1(NKJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
All that God is and has is in His Word. The Life, Wisdom, and Power of God is in His Word.
Therefore giving ourselves wholly to the Word of God is giving ourselves wholly to God. We sing “I surrender, I surrender all” but true surrender to God is surrender to His Word. Read the Word, listen to the Word, study the Word, meditate on the Word, act in line with the Word, and share the Word with others. This is how you give yourself wholly to the Word.
The result of giving ourselves wholly to the Word is we progress in life in all that we do and this can be evident to all.
