And he said to him, ‘well done good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’
Luke 19:17(NKJV)
A great, successful, fulfilled life is not about big things or huge events only. Life includes and for the most part is made out of the seemingly insignificant always ignored little things.
Just like the body is built from micro-organisms invisible to the human eye, it’s the easily and often unnoticed details that make life worthwhile and beautiful.
The fact that you are here alive on the planet, the fresh air you breathe, your heart beating faithfully, the warm blood running in your veins, the relationships you’re a part of, on and on goes the list.
All these are things we easily ignore and take for granted yet they are the backbone upon which life is built and thrives.
What’s the point of fame, power, wealth, even immortality itself if you’re alone, disfunctional, lonely, sick on your back, miserably unhappy in your selfishness?
Jesus put it this way; “what does it profit a person if they gain the whole world but lose their soul?” Mark 8:36.
Nothing wrong with big things but let’s not forget the little things which are actually the greater. Celebrate life, smile, laugh, believe in yourself and those around you. Be grateful for where you’re right now in life on your way ahead or above. Be thankful for the people in your life, friends, enemies, frienemies alike. Enjoy the good weather and remember to like God’s Facebook page about that, excuse the bad weather it only came to pass! Celebrate you, celebrate others, celebrate God!
