Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Ephesians 6:10 (NIV)
This doesn’t mean we try hard to do something in order to become. Be strong in the Lord reveals and affirms that we are already strong in the Lord therefore let’s stay there. It’s like telling a man to be a man. Not that he should do something to be because he already is.
Be strong in the Lord means know, realize, and persuade yourself and so act who you’re in Him.
See yourself strong in the Lord. You see the Lord Himself is your strength. He’s the One who strengthens you.
Tell yourself the Lord is my strength whom shall I fear? Psalms 27:1.
Say I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me Philippians 4:13.
We are strong in the Lord as we dwell on and act according to who we are, what we have and what we can do in Him.
